Ok this is a bit weird
I just downloaded todays patch and tried to log on. I was successful. I had no graphics issues at all . Logged in, flew my ship around, updated my training and PI. Then I logged off.
I tried again a few minutes later and the problem returned. Tried again Same thing.
I only have one character. There were no other programs running. It just stopped working on the second login attempt.
The only strange thing I noticed was that the windows on my desktop were acting strange just before I tried the second login. I had a password manager window open, and when I tried to bring the Eve launcher to the front as the active window, the password manager kept coming back in front of it.
I have my system info posted in an earlier message. Let me know if I can give you any more info.
We will beat this thing !!!!! |

When this is over, I suggest that we all start a corporation, and call it "The Black Screens". Membership will be limited to the people who have contributed to this thread.
We will be PVP oriented, specifically we will rove in gangs, hunting down players who use PC and destroying their ships.
Until then let's raise our glasses to Snorlax and the gang for doing their best to help this Motley Crew.
(Yes I,ve been drinking. What else is there to do when you can't play EvE.) |

I hope someone is "Singularity Ready" and can give us a quick answer.
I am downloading the EvE client again and it is 6.92 GB. That will take me till about 3AM Toronto time. (8AM EvE Time). I will be up and ready to try it by about Tranquiity's down time.
That's the best I can do. |

My download of the singularity client went South in the middle of the night so I wasn't able to get on. |

You should be able to get in to singularity, just like a normal EVE launch. Hopefully, like me, you won't crash
Thanks for that great advice !
I was able to access singularity and logged on and off three times with no issues.
The patch appears to work.
